SOUVENIR

Vinyed # 5

Synopsis:

A collection of short and ultra-short stories with an unexpected twist (Twisted Tales). Imaginative, surprising and terrifying.

His crotch, went through her mind. Her mother, her adoptive mother, used to say, “When boys bother you, you just kick them in the balls. Grab them where they are most vulnerable. Their cross. And then you put your finger in their eyes...”

Her mother was sweet.

And very concerned.

Protective as she herself called it.

But sometimes a bit scary.”

In this issue you will find the following six stories:

Summer's Over

Everyone is back at school or back to work. The heat is gone; summer is over. Or, is it? A summer love may last more than just one summer. And occasionally a summer love is not what it appeared to be. As the Simmons family finds out, the heat of summer sometimes starts in the afterglow. They can only wish summer really will be over soon.

Buddy

Two dive buddies enjoy a great dive in the Dutch waterway, the “Oosterschelde”. When they decide to make a second dive they do not realize some things do not get better...Beware the unexpected.

Lost before gone

Love. Now you’ve got her. Now you lost her.

Come fly with me

Suzy Stone is a flight attendant. After the death of her husband three years ago, she devoted herself to her work. The more flights the better. This way she could cope with the loss of her great love. Until now. During a flight to Chicago, she has a remarkable passenger on board. A man who looks exactly like her deceased husband. However, his behavior is nothing like her mild-mannered husband. She soon discovers the horrible truth. Death flies along on this flight…

Prince Soyinka

Spam. Just try to keep it out of your mailbox. Try to resist ... Yara's interest is piqued by a very personal message. Too good to be true? Or...?
Sometimes the truth is not what you expected, and certainly not what you wanted.
